# eth_getTransactionCount

Returns the number of transactions sent from an address.

## Parameters

1. `DATA` (20 bytes) — Address.
2. `QUANTITY|TAG` — Block number, or `"latest"`, `"earliest"`, `"pending"`.

## Returns

`QUANTITY` — Integer of the number of transactions sent from this address.
