# Polygon API

Polygon PoS remains an archive product on keyed private endpoints. The public trial at `/v1/rpc/public` does not promise deep history, debug, or trace.

## Access tiers

| Access | What it provides |
| --- | --- |
| Keyed / private (`/v1/rpc/BRQ1P0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000`) | Archive: deep history, `eth_getProof`, and debug/trace where supported |
| Public trial (`/v1/rpc/public`) | Restricted trial. No deep history, debug, or trace. Filter methods are rejected. History is limited to about 1024 blocks, including historical `eth_getProof`.
